The NonRefundables

The NonRefundables (Wilkes-Barre, PA) formed in late 2004 with the goal of providing the Northeast with fun, home-grown, original music. Their style ranges from pop-rock party music to tongue-in-cheek rockabilly with a focus on the irreverent, refusing to limit themselves to one specific sound. The band has been touring Northeast Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey regularly at some of the most popular venues. They have played alongside many nationally touring acts, including The Pietasters, Blanks 77, Murphy’s Law, King Django, and Hub City Stompers.

Over the years, The NonRefundables have built up a small library of top notch original music. In April 2010, they released “As You Like It,” which expands upon their ska & punk roots with an album full of jangly pop, erratic rock, and some layered vocals thrown in, all while keeping their signature sound in tact. The NonRefundables also appear on the nationally circulated compilation, Copper Press (#28). After recently winning Alternative Addiction’s Indie Spotlight Band of the Month contest (April 2012), they will soon be releasing their most recent recording, “Nothing to Be Done,” in November, 2012.
